Rotary and Rotaract Club of Luntiang Maynila Prime Hold Successful Joint Club Planning Session
On July 31, 2025, the Rotary and Rotaract Clubs of Luntiang Maynila Prime convened for an inspiring and productive joint club planning session at the elegant Arzo Hotel. The event, marked by camaraderie and strategic planning, aimed to set the tone for the upcoming Rotary Year 2025-2026, under the inspiring theme “Unite For Good.”
The session was called to order promptly at 7:20 PM by UCP Rod Jason Señoron, who welcomed all attendees and emphasized the importance of unity and collaborative efforts in achieving the clubs’ shared goals. The evening was dedicated to outlining a comprehensive plan for the year ahead, focusing on impactful projects, strengthening club membership, enhancing public image, and fostering a spirit of service among members.
A key highlight of the meeting was the formal establishment of the new set of officers for the Rotary Year 2025-2026. The officers were introduced, with a clear mandate to lead the clubs toward greater community engagement and service excellence. With the theme “Unite For Good,” the officers committed to fostering collaboration, innovation, and enthusiasm in all club activities.
One of the most anticipated discussions centered around the signature project, “Green Initiative: A Forest Rebirth.” This environmental project underscores the clubs’ dedication to ecological preservation and sustainability. To kickstart this initiative, the clubs planned a fun run dubbed the “LUNTIAN FUN RUN,” 🌱💚🏃 a fundraising event designed not only to raise funds but also to promote awareness on environmental issues. The funds raised from this activity aim to support the planting of 1 million trees, symbolizing a significant step toward reforestation and environmental stewardship.
Public image enhancement was also a major focus during the planning session. Vice President and Co-Chair of Public Image, Michael Derwin Musni, shared his expertise on strategies to elevate the clubs’ visibility and community engagement. His insights emphasized the importance of maintaining a positive and active public image, which is vital for attracting new members and partners, as well as for garnering support for the clubs’ projects.
Meanwhile, the Rotaract side, led by UCP Eliona Loureyn Hernandez, highlighted the vital role of club membership in ensuring the sustainability and growth of the organization. She stressed the importance of recruiting dedicated members and fostering leadership development within the youth-oriented Rotaract Club. The discussion underscored that a vibrant and engaged membership base is essential to achieving the clubs’ impactful projects and long-term goals.
While the flagship project sparked excitement among members, detailed plans are still being refined. The clubs agreed to develop more comprehensive strategies before unveiling the project to the wider community, promising an exciting announcement in the near future.
The joint planning session concluded at approximately 9:20 PM with UCP Rod Jason Señoron expressing gratitude to all participants for their enthusiasm and commitment. The clubs left the meeting energized and united in their pursuit of service, environmental sustainability, and community development.
As Luntiang Maynila Prime🌱 Rotary and Rotaract Clubs move forward into the new Rotary Year, their collaborative spirit and dedication to “Unite For Good” are poised to make a lasting impact on their community and beyond. The upcoming projects and initiatives promise a year filled with meaningful service, growth, and positive change.
